Motherhood is the most rewarding experience you could ever experience! It is such a magical time, you’re growing, or grew a human inside of you. Then in a labor of love introduce that beautiful being in to the world!
As a woman with three children, your life will never be the same! But I also find it important that Mommas find connection with others. This is because we can loose ourselves a little focusing on our children. We as women still need to focus on us all while raising a family.
Let’s face it; in today’s world there is so much information and a lot contradicts itself. As a mother it is super frustrating to want the best for your kids but also feeling overwhelmed, stressed, and burdened by not doing the exact thing, or right thing per media’s standards. Or to even know if any of it’s correct. It’s a real struggle.
There is no right way to be a mother, but one thing is for certain; being a present, happy, healthy mother is a must. We have to show up every day for our kids, the same with ourself. If we keep showing up with our cups half empty it’s going to show.
As a mother I focus so much on my kids I will start to become burned out loosing my temper on my kids easier. With this new identity comes so much energy and focus.
As our identity changes we do too, but we need to also remember who we are at the foundational level to all this.
Intentional motherhood is an area I will be focusing on to help all the Mommas out there live a life they are so desperately searching for.
